        Important sections that should be taken care of in the plan are:

        BACKYARD

        Instead of a front yard, the backyard should be designed such that it is big enough to grow plants and can serve as a good living area and if required the kitchen or living area can be extended to this area to increase the space inside.

        PARKING SPACE

        Most of the terraced home plans lack the parking area. It is a huge problem always for the residents of the terraced houses as parking outside requires parking permits and that incurs a lot of expenses. Therefore, a design layout must include parking space that can easily accommodate at least two cars.

        BATHROOM

        There should be attached as well as a separate bathroom on each floor. Earlier design layouts had only one bathroom. To ease the lifestyle, there should be separate bathrooms on each floor and at least one bedroom should accompany an attached bathroom.

        PATIO OR BALCONY

        Some extra space for enjoying a cup of tea in evening and mornings is definitely no harm. While patios are usually seen in luxury homes, if possible a small space outside will be like a cherry on the cake. A balcony on the upper floors will work as a source of light and air and is highly preferable.
